Global cultural sustainability

Global cultural sustainability is coming. The idea that certain parts of the world do not teach others how to be sustainable is my core theory to debunk. It’s one I have been developing for a few years. How can we help a global audience realise that we all have as much to learn as we have to teach? In fact, most likely the Rest Of the World can teach us more than we can teach them.

We keep asking the ROW to listen, when in fact the ROW have been doing sustainability for a long time, we have not been paying attention. More on this to come.

In the interim, I keep being asked ‘What can I do to be more sustainable?” but my main answer is to keep it real, to be you. This means:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Do what works for you
Look at your culture
Talk about it
Don’t let anyone intimidate you

Language is how you talk about sustainable fashion, so use the words you feel comfortable with, the ones that resonate. That’s what you can do.
