This year’s International Women’s Day is unlike any other. As the impact of the pandemic is felt around the world, it’s estimated more than three-quarters of Covid-related job losses have affected women and girls. So we thought it pertinent to ask some of the most influential women in the UK to reflect on the experiences of the past year. Plus, they share their thoughts on this year’s IWD theme, and tell us why today – and every other – they #ChooseToChallenge the status quo, to ensure the world becomes a more aware and equal place.
